BESIDES ALL OF THAT:
A recent study showed that people who live with pets are actually healthier. Even babies are better off with a pet around despite what we’ve heard in the past. New studies performed by the “Journal Pediatrics” results are quite interesting.
Asthma for example, we’ve always have heard it not a good idea to keep a pet in the house especially if you have a child with Asthma. However these new studies show that dogs may actually protect against respiratory syncytial viruses. Being exposed to pets in an early life can stimulate the immune system by doing a better job fighting off infections.
In fact if a pet lives in your home during the first year of a child’s life, 31% of them have fewer respiratory infections.
For the older and wiser that suffer from Blood Pressure this same study shows pets often helps stabilized blood pressure as it helps with reducing stress.
Self-esteem: is a big plus to have is usually higher as people feel safer when their animals are close by with them when they live alone or just feeling lonely. Pets provide us with an unconditional love, which soothes and fills our hearts in more ways then one.
These statics are manly with dogs though cats seem to have their own benefits though not as strong as dogs according the researcher.
So if you’ve been thinking of perhaps bring a new pet you’re your home, please consider adopting one from your nearest animal shelter as these poor little animals are in desperate need of a loving home.
